Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos says he has new sense of belief in his team despite the disappointing 2-2 draw against Liberia at Orlando Stadium last Friday. The Belgian mentor spoke ahead of the second match between the two nations in Monrovia on Tuesday evening. It is a quick turn of emotions for the 70 year old coach, who could not even face the media after the match when his troops blew a 2-0 lead. Bafana have to win tonight to book their ticket to next years AFCON, failure to do so may require them to beat World Cup semi finalists Morocco in June.
Broos has shown remorse for his actions after the match and believes that his troops have what it takes to get a favorable result in Liberia, and qualify for the 2024 AFCON tournament.
