Third Suspect Arrested In Connection With Truck Attacks In Mpumalanga

Police have confirmed that a third suspect has been arrested in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga, in connection with several trucks being set alight in the province.

Two other suspects were arrested on a farm in Piet Retief and in Ermelo yesterday.

More than 20 trucks have been set alight in KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga.

Police spokesperson, Athlenda Mathe, says they are continuing with high-density operations through roadblocks, stop-and-searches, and the tracing operations of more suspects.
