President Cyril Ramaphosa has warned health workers who continue to participate in illegal strike action that they will be left without pay.

This follows reports of deaths directly linked to the National Education, Health, and Allied Workers Union strike, which entered its fourth day today.

Nehawu members protesting at health facilities across the country are demanding a ten-percent wage hike.

Answering questions in Parliament, Ramaphosa says the government will be forced to apply the no work no pay rule for those who continue to defy the court order to end the strike.
