Parents of learners in Eastwood Secondary School in Pietermaritzburg say the school will remain closed until the department of Education attends to their concerns.

The school is one of the education institutions that was badly affected by the storms in December, where the roof and other infrastructure was left damaged.

Parents say learners cannot continue to learn under appalling conditions, therefore the department must intervene.
