Airports Company South Africa has barred Air Zimbabwe from using South Africa’s airports because the airline owes Acsa an undisclosed amount of money.
The company says in a statement that it informed Air Zimbabwe earlier this month that it will not be allowed to depart from any of Acasa’s nine airports and that the prohibition will remain in place until outstanding amounts are settled.
As a cash client, the airline is required to settle the amounts owing for landing fees, parking fees and passenger service each Monday.
