Africa Union Launches Historic Trade Treaty

African Union Chairperson, President Cyril Ramaphosa says he start of the African Free Trade Agreement will speed up economic integration towards the sustainable development of Africa.
This as the AfCFTA has officially been launched by the AU as announced at the 13th Extraordinary Session of the AU Assembly, last month.
This treaty requires members to remove tariffs from 90% of goods, allowing free access to commodities, goods, and services across the continent.
Ramaphosa says entrepreneurs must seize these opportunities that this treaty will present, to explore new markets.
