Agricultural Sector Sees Growth

The Agricultural Business Chamber of South Africa is partly satisfied with the growth momentum of the country’s agricultural sector.
Data shows that partnership programmes between government, farmers and agribusiness have yielded positive results in integrating black farmers into the commercial farming level.
The sector’s aggregate volume of production in 2020 was 19% higher compared to a decade ago.
The Chamber’s Wandile Sihlobo says the growth was spread across all sub-sectors.
