All Systems Go for Educator Assistants

The Basic Education Department has welcomed the thousands of young people successfully recruited for the presidential youth employment initiative.

The programme is at its second phase with over 280 000 youth placed in schools across the country.

The recruits are set to fulfill various curricular and extra-curricular activities including Reading Champions, eCadres, Child and Youth Care Workers.

Spokesperson, Terence Khala says the candidates have been furnished with the relevant job descriptions and assigned to mentors who will provide guidance, advice, and support moving forward.
