The IFP says it is feeling highly confident and excited that the election results will come out in its favour in most parts of KwaZulu-Natal.

As things currently stand, the IFP is dominating most parts of northern KZN, taking control of a number of local municipalities as well as districts that have been under the ANC’s control.

IFP Elections Coordinator Narend Singh says they are encouraged by the results coming out, particularly in the province where the party is poised to regain the municipalities it lost to the ANC from 2011.

He says this is a major boost of confidence from the citizens ahead of the 2024 provincial and national elections.
