Political analyst, Somadoda Fikeni, says the ANC must deal decisively with corruption in order to regain the public’s trust.
The party’s senior officials are allegedly involved in the corruption of R125 million personal protective equipment tender.
Gauteng Health MEC, Bandile Masuku, his wife Loyiso, and the husband of presidential spokesperson, Khusela Diko, were implicated in the alleged fraudulently awarded tender.
In the province, the Department of Social Development suspended 11 officials over irregularities with regards to COVID-19 procurement.
