ANC Describes Mvelase as a “Brother”

The ANC says National Executive Committee member, Jackson Mthembu’s death has left a gaping wound that will never be closed.

Condolences are pouring in for Minister in the Presidency Mthembu, who passed away earlier today due to COVID-19 related complications.

During a media briefing on the Mthembu’s death, ANC Deputy Secretary General Jassie Duarte has described him as an honest man fuelled with integrity.

“Jackson Mthembu had an unbelievable work ethic, his belief was you don’t leave a job undone. He had a great sense of humour but could be quite firm. We’ve lost a person who’s very loyal to the country and put the country first at all times,” adds Duarte.
