ANC investigates food parcel looting allegations

Written by on 7 May, 2020

ANC provincial secretary, Mdumiseni Ntuli, says they are concerned about the manner in which some members are handling the distribution of food relief packages in the province.

Ntuli had been briefing media in Durban on the outcomes of the PEC’s monthly ordinary meeting on COVID-19.

Councillors and some ANC officials are accused of looting food parcels meant for the poor.

Most of these complaints came from eThekwini, Moses Mabhida and lower south coast regions.

Ntuli says the party’s provincial working committee is investigating all allegations.
