The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal has pledged full support for the decision of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), on corruption-accused officials within the party.

The NEC has ruled that members who face pending corruption cases and other serious crimes must step aside within 30 days of face suspension.

Provincial Secretary, Mdumiseni Ntuli, says all members in the province are duty-bound to ensure that they act accordingly to the specification of the ANC.

Those who are not happy with the ruling are advised to provide an explanation and argument to relevant platforms.

On the same note, the DA’s Chris Pappas says the ANC in this province should remove Zandile Gumede from her seat in the provincial legislature, following the NEC’s decision on corruption-accused officials.
