ANC NEC Set to Meet Today

The African National Congress has announced that the National Executive Committee (NEC) will meet today.

Party spokesperson Pule Mabe says the first virtual NEC meeting for the year will deliberate on the up-coming January 8th statement to be delivered by the party’s president, Cyril Ramaphosa.

Last month, the ANC said it will cancel its January 8 events for 2021. These are annual events across the country to celebrate the party’s anniversary.

Mabe adds that the NEC will discuss among other things, the theme for the ANC’s 109th birthday celebrations which will be conducted virtually this coming Friday.
