ANC Reacts to Zuma’s Parole

The ANC has welcomed and applauded the Correctional Services department on its decision to grant former president Jacob Zuma medical parole.
Zuma is serving a 15-month sentence for contempt of court, due to his refusal to abide by a Constitutional Court order to appear before the Zondo commission into State Capture.
He is currently in hospital after undergoing surgery.
ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe says the whole country has known for a while that Zuma is not well and qualifies for parole.
