The ANC in the province says it will call on former eThekwini Mayor, Zandile Gumede, to explain to the provincial leadership about her supporters who were seen holding placards criticizing certain party leaders.
Speaking at a press conference in Durban the party’s provincial secretary, Mdumiseni Ntuli, says some of these banners had negative writing that could be seen causing internal divisions.
One such placard criticized Youth League secretary, Thanduxolo Sabelo, for destroying the party’s youth league.
