ANCWL in KZN concerned about arrest of a GBV activist

ANC women’s league in the province says it is concerned about the arrest of a Gender based violence activist, Hlengiwe Gambushe, in Mthwalume in the south coast.
She was arrested last week and was charged for contravening the national lockdown regulations.
Gambushe will appear in the Mzumbe magistrate court on Friday.
She was marching against the murder of five women in Mthwalume following the discovery of the decomposed remains in the area.
ANC women’s league provincial spokesperson, Mbali Frazer, says this arrest shocks them.
