The ANC Youth League in KwaZulu-Natal has expressed concerns on what it has deemed delayed tactics on the murder case of Sindiso Magaqa.

The trial of the four men accused of the murder of former ANC Youth League leader, Magaqa, is set to get underway in September at the Pietermaritzburg High Court in KwaZulu-Natal.

Magaqa was a member of the Umzimkhulu council’s executive committee when he and two other councillors were shot in 2017.

It is alleged that he was targeted because he had been vocal about corruption in the local municipality.

More than 60 witnesses are expected to testify in the long awaited trial.

Meanwhile attending the case Yesterday, Cele says it seems like the defence is coming with all tricks to delay the starting of the trial.
