Motorists are in for a bad March, according to the Automobile Association.
It predicts fuel price increases of way more than a rand per litre from the first Wednesday of next month.
The latest data from the Central Energy Fund points to an increase of R1,25-cents a litre for petrol, taking the price to a new record of R21, 39-cents in Gauteng.
Diesel could shoot up by R1,29-cents per litre.
The AA ascribes the increases to the high price of crude oil of above 90-dollars a barrel.
A year ago it was around 60-dollars.
