Authorities Urge Caution at Van Reenen’s Pass

The N3 Toll Concession (N3TC) and the Road Traffic Infringement Agency have urged motorists to take extreme caution passing by Van Reenen’s Pass, between the Free State and KwaZulu-Natal.

The N3TC is reporting high traffic volumes as holidaymakers make their way out of KZN following the President’s announcement of putting the country back to lockdown alert level 3.

Yesterday, 16 people were injured  where two women, aged 32 and 46, were rushed to hospital.

This follows the taxi they were travelling in, rolling at the bottom of the pass.
