Basic Education Department to Begin Matric Scripts Marking

Basic Education minister Angie Motshekga has announced new directions and protocols for the marking of matric scripts set to commence today.

Department spokesperson, Elijah Mhlanga says the purpose of these directions is to provide guidelines to officials, educators and administration staff who are involved in the marking of examination scripts.

Mhlanga says the department has moved swiftly to revise the health and safety protocols to ensure the safety of everyone involved in the marking process.
