Police Minister Bheki Cele has accused farm owners of employing undocumented foreign nationals in an aim to save money.
The minister says this usually backfires when these people commit crimes as it becomes hard to trace and locate them.
Addressing farm owners at a rural safety summit in the Free State. the minister says most cases of farm murders, suspect are former workers who have taken revenge due to being under paid and over worked.
He says this makes the job of the police ministry extra hard when they have to investigate such cases of illegal immigrants.
