Calls For A Clear Roadmap On Delivery Climate Change Resolutions

President Cyril Ramaphosa has called for a clear roadmap on the delivery of last year’s COP26 decision to double adaptation financing by the year 2025.
He has been delivering South Africa’s statement at the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2022, in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
Ramaphosa says the emphasis must be on food, health, and water security of struggling and developing countries.
He has told the COP27 conference that South Africa is already moving away from coal-fired power plants.
