Cele: Some missing person cases may be connected to Mthwalume Killer

Police minister, Bheki Cele, says some of the missing persons cases that may be connected to the Mthwalume serial Killer, south of the province date back to 2016.

Speaking to the media Cele has confirmed that the suspect that allegedly committed suicide in police cells did indicate that there could be more bodies buried in the sugar canes where other victim’s bodies were discovered.

The IPID is currently investigating his death.

Cele says the death of the first suspect has weakened their case.
