Police Minister Bheki Cele has issued a stern warning that businesses that break COVID-19 protocols will pay a R5000 fine.
This is after President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the tightening of regulations, to minimise the spread of the pandemic this festive season.
Businesses will be forced to pay a fine for first offenses, and thereafter will have their licenses confiscated for three months.
Cele says they will have no mercy on businesses which breach these regulations.
