Northern Cape Upington City have been promoted to the National First Division after beating Mpheni Home Defenders 3-2 on penalties.
Upington dominated the first half of the game and in the second half they were rewarded in the 75th minute when Dellmico Jonkers game the lead. However Munyadziwa restore parity in the 88th minute to take the game to penalties.
The Northern Cape province will have two teams in the Motsepe Foundation Championship also known as National First Division (NFD) next season.
