Commission issues draft Price Discrimination and Buyer Power Draft Guidelines

The Competition Commission has issued its draft Price Discrimination and Buyer Power Draft Guidelines.
President, Cyril Ramaphosa, signed the amendments to the Competition Amendment Act in February this year and in July, Minister of Trade and Industry, Ebrahim Patel, promulgated certain sections of the amendments to the Act.
The commission’s, James Hodge, says the guidelines complement the regulations by providing guidance on how it will investigate potential cases.
