Communities Urged To Apply For The PYE Initiative.

The Department of Basic Education is urging the communities to continue applying for the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative.
Currently, the Department of Basic Education has received 7.3-million applications from 867 864 applicants around the country.
The department’s spokesperson, Terence Khala has warned the applicants not to make applications at the schools adding that walk-ins are not allowed.
He says 796 schools in the country received less than 20 applications and 14 schools received zero applications.
Khala says the schools with zero applications are in the Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, and Western Cape.
