The Public Service Commission (PSC) is concerned about the lack of reporting on the consequent management approach adopted by the National Treasury regarding departments and provinces who repeatedly default on payments.

The concern is contained in the PSC’s Pulse of the Public Service bulletin for the second quarter.

National Treasury released an annual report on the non-payment of suppliers’ invoices within 30 days.

PSC Commissioner, Michael Seloane, says issuing an instruction note does not automatically facilitate compliance.
