ConCourt to rule on duties of Independent schools

The Constitutional Court will rule today on the duties and obligations of independent schools.
This comes after the Pridwin Preparatory School in Johannesburg removed learners from the independent school following a dispute with parents.
Equal Education, as friends of the court, says the ruling will not only affect elite private schools but also have consequences for the rights of learners who attended low-fee independent schools.
