Confirmation of A Positive COVID-19 Case

Gagasi FM can confirm that one staff member has tested positive for COVID 19 and is currently in isolation.  In respect for their privacy, we cannot give any details pertaining to the identity of a staff member. In line with regulations, Gagasi FM has shut down its offices in Cornubia until further notice and no staff member will be accessing the building.

Necessary measures have been put in place to ensure that the broadcast services continue with minimal interruption. As an immediate response, presenters will be doing their shows from home and after sanitising, testing and getting the all-clear we will begin broadcasting through one of our remote broadcasting facilities in KZN.

Gagasi FM management is currently engaged with the process of ensuring compliance with all the applicable government regulations in dealing with an issue of positive COVID 19 case in a workplace. Our utmost priority is the health of all our workers during these trying times.
