Consumers urged to pay their electricity bills

Eskom’s Acting Group CEO, Jabu Mabuza, says government’s financial support remains important in addressing short-term liquidity concerns.
Mabuza has told parliament’s portfolio committee on Public Enterprises that creating an energy plan for the power utility and the country remains critical in an ever-changing energy landscape.
He adds that government’s financial support addresses their short-term liquidity concerns and relieves the financial pressure.
Mabuza has also urged consumers to pay their electricity bills and protect infrastructure.
