Correctional Services Department Warns of Job Scammers

The Department of Correctional Services has vowed to bring to book, scammers who claim to be recruiting on its behalf.
A number of advertisements have been circulating on various social media platforms, calling for applications for learnerships in the department.
The fake adverts further indicate a monthly stipend over a period of 12 months, and requires applicants to make payments in order to be able to have access to such opportunities.
A spokesperson for the department, Singabakho Nxumalo says these advertisements are misleading.
