COSATU Addresses Poor Working Conditions KwaSithebe

Trade Union Federation, COSATU,  says government has continuously proved to have failed the people of South Africa.

Kwazulu-Natal COSATU has embarked in a march kwaSithebe in Mandeni, north of the province, to voice the plight facing workers as well as the poor working conditions they are subjected to, mainly in the textile industry.

The federation is pleading with government to commit into preserving the already existing jobs as the country continues to be under an immense economic pressures.

It has also pointed out that the initial plan of building factories in this area was warmly welcomed to address any unemployment concerns in the community.

Speaking to Gagasi FM News KZN COSATU Secretary, Edwin Mkhize, has highlighted some of their concerns,

COSATU has also called on government to investigate the continuous business trade from Israel to the Durban harbour.

This as cross-border violence between the Israeli military and Palestinian militants continues, in Gaza City.

Mkhize says they are calling for an immediate intervention on this matter.
