The Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) President Zingiswa Losi has defended the delegates who booed and heckled the African National Congress (ANC) Chairperson Gwede Mantashe.

Mantashe was due to address delegates at the Cosatu’s 14th national elective conference which began on Monday in Midrand, Johannesburg.

This sparked a debate on whether the relations between ANC and Cosatu are beginning to fall apart.

Zingiswa says the delegate’s actions were justified.
