Court application lodged against Mkhwebane’s report into Prasa

Civil society organisation Unite Behind, has approached the High Court in Pretoria seeking to set aside Public Protector, Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s, report into corruption and maladministration at the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa.
The report deals with issues that had to be deferred from her predecessor, Thuli Madonsela’s, 2015 report, Derailed.
The organisation’s, Zackie Achmat, says Mkhwebane’s report is a whitewash as she failed to address the deferred complaints properly and effectively.
