COVID-19 Numbers Declining

Newly appointed Health Minister Joe Phaahla says he is encouraged by the steady decline in new COVID-19 cases in the country.
The minister has briefed media on government efforts in the fight against COVID-19 while also providing updates on the vaccine rollout.
He says latest research indicates that the third wave of the pandemic is taking a steady decline in the numbers of infected people in most parts of the country.
However, Phaahla says they are seeing an increase in numbers in coastal provinces.
