Cristiano Ronaldo shares news of the passing of his son via a social media statement.
The Manchester United star took to social media to announce the death of the baby boy he shared with his girlfriend Georgina recently after she had given birth to twins.
The statement reads:
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away,” the couple wrote in a note shared on Instagram. “It is the greatest pain that any parent can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.”

The global international soccer star continued to thank the doctors and nurses for their support. Amongst the lots of pouring of condolences messages was that from Manchester United, who posted this message right after the news broke in an attempt to give the soccer start strength during this time.

This dreadful news follows after some months after Ronaldo announced via Instagram that his girlfriend was indeed expecting their twins, a girl and a boy in a warm touching post captioned “Where life begins and love never ends,” he captioned the clip.
