Daily Covid-19 numbers still showing a steady decrease

Media speculation that President, Cyril Ramaphosa, might soon announce the further down-scaling of the current lockdown regulations, seems to be supported by the Covid-19 numbers of the past week.
The daily statistics have shown a steady decrease, with another three-thousand-946 new infections during the past 24 hours.
The country now has a total of 572 865 cases.
260 more people have died, taking the total to 11 270.
Gauteng now has 195 820 cases, KwaZulu-Natal 102 233 and the Western Cape 100 976.
The Eastern Cape has 83-thousand-and-two reported infections, with 30 thousand and 49 reported in the Free State.
