De Mthuda and Da Muziqal Chef’s ‘SGUDI SNYC’ EP is the number 1 album on Apple Music

Multitalented DJ and producer, De Mthuda and Da Muziqal Chef’s collaboration EP ‘Sgudi Snyc’ is now the number 1 most streamed album on Apple Music, this is an even bigger achievement considering that the project only has 5 tracks, and it is competing with and out streaming albums with at least 15 or more tracks.
Since its release the EP has continued to show good growth from week-to-week growth.

Playfully titled ‘Sgudi Snyc’ an ode to the classic 1990s sitcom starring the late great Joe Mafela however the music on the EP is nothing to play with; De Mthuda and Da Muziqal Chef have crafted a feel good 5-track masterpiece; a seamless, soulful, and groovy body of work that gets straight to the point and is guaranteed to get any groove started. ‘Sgudi Snyc’ also features an impressive lineup of hitmakers, including Sam Deep, Kwiish SA, Mkeyz, Azana, Sipho Magudulela, and the sensational new kids on the block Eemoh and Lannie Billion.
Three of the tracks on the ‘Sgudi Snyc’ EP are on Apple Music’s Top 100: South Africa chart, with the lead single ‘Sgudi Snyc’ featuring Eemoh at #2, ‘iThuba’ also featuring Eemoh at #29 and ‘Ntandane’ featuring Mkeyz at #69.
The ‘Sgudi Snyc’ EP was released on 26 May 2033 and has already amassed over 5 350 000 streams.
