The Presidency has confirmed that its suspended Spokesperson, Khusela Diko has been served with a written warning.
This follows the completion of a disciplinary process for her failure to disclose her interests in certain companies as required by public service regulations on the disclosure of financial interests.
Her charges stem from findings last year, that her late husband, Inkosi Thandisizwe Diko, was illegally awarded a R125 million PPE tender by the Gauteng department of health.
The Presidency, through a statement says Diko, who is on maternity leave, will not return to the position of Spokesperson to the President but to a different position in the public service.
Tyrone Seake will continue as Acting Spokesperson to the President.
