Direct Axis – COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Before you enter the competition please read the competition rules below:
2. By entering the competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be
bound by these terms and conditions.
The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judge, presenter or organizer
of the competition, whose decision is final. No negotiations and or correspondence will be
entered into after the fact.
3. Participants/listeners enter into and take part in competitions at their own risk and Radio
iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd bears no responsibility for any loss, damage or harm suffered as a
result of participation in any of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd’s competition.
4. The Direct Axis Competition is brought to you by Direct Axis and Gagasi FM. The competition
starts at 00:00 on Monday 14 April 2025, and ends at 23:59 on Friday, 13 June 2025 on
Gagasi FM.
5. The competition will be played on The Gagasi Fast Lane, between 15h00 – 18h00
6. To enter the competition, entrants must visit the Gagasi FM website to fill in a competition
entry form and then await a call from the presenters. It is encouraged that entrants also
familiarise themselves with content from the client website (www.directaxis.co.za) because 2
of the 5 quiz questions will be related to Direct Axis website content.
7. For the duration of the competition, Monday to Friday, one entrant will be selected as an
entrant to play the quiz. The entrant will be called on air to answer 5 quiz questions, they
need to get at all five answers correct to win the prize, the “quiz kittie” cash prize.
8. The “quiz kittie” starts at R5000. If the prize is not won on any given day, the amount will roll
over, and another R5000 will be added to the prize value every day until such a time, a
listener gets all 5 questions correct to win the full value of the “quiz kittie,” where after the
prize value resets to R5000 once again.
9. For the duration of the competition, should the “quiz kittie” get to R25 000 on Friday, and no
one wins, the amount will reset to R5000 on the following Monday.
10. Prize: R5000 cash
11. Winners will be notified telephonically and the judge’s decision will be final, and no
correspondence will be entered into.
12. The Prize is not transferable to another person.
13. Winners are to provide Gagasi FM with a copy of their bar-coded Identity Document, and
banking details sent to the station via e-mail.
14. No entries by post or any other form will be accepted by Gagasi FM.
15. Gagasi FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, cheating including
without limitation through the manipulation of codes or otherwise falsifying data.
16. Entries that contain errors will be invalid.
17. Any entries received after the competition moment will not be eligible to participate in the
competition, regardless of the reason for the late entry.

18. Gagasi FM is not liable for any technical failure that may result in an entry not being
successfully submitted.
19. You will be disqualified if:
• You are under the age of 18 at the time of entering the competition
• You have won a competition conducted by Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd in the past three
months.
