AmaZulu FC interim coach Ayanda Dlamini has called on Lamontville Golden Arrows to help Maritzburg United in their relegation fight this weekend. Abafana besithende will travel to the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium to take on Chippa United, in the final matchday of the DSTV Premiership on Saturday. The Chili boys are currently bottom of the log standings, level on points with Marumo Gallants ( 29 points) and both teams are a point behind Maritburg United on the log.

Maritzburg gave themselves a fighting chance when they held champions Mamelodi Sundowns to a 1-1 draw at Loftus on Tuesday night, and will require favours from Arrows and Swallows FC who are going to face Chippa and Gallants on Saturday. The Chili Boys and Bahlabane Ba Ntwa need to avoid defeat on Saturday to ensure that Maritzburg get automatic relegation into the Motsepe Foundation Championship. Dlamini has called on Arrows to help a fellow KZN team to stay up by beating Chippa United on Saturday.
