Dlamini Says Mkhize Must Be Supported

Former African National Congress women’s league President, Bathabile Dlamini says she will be supporting Zweli Mkhize in the ruling party’s 55th elective conference.

She says in the build-up to the conference, they are facing a war that pitted imperialism against the revolutionaries.

The former women’s league president has warned that if the latter were to be defeated, this would see further oppression by white minorities.

Addressing delegates attending the Oliver Tambo memorial lecture in Pietermaritzburg, Dlamini says she’s concerned that white minorities want to tell ANC members, who should lead the party.
