AmaZulu FC caretaker coach Ayanda Dlamini says Usuthu needs to make brutal decisions on their current squad, and decide on the players they want to take into the new season. Cobra reflected on an inconsistent season where Usuthu blew hot and cold throughout the campaign. The KZN side failed to maintain any form of consistency and stablity with regular coaching changes throughout the season. Brandon Truter and Romain Folz were in charge for most parts of the season, whilst Ayanda Dlamini came in as a caretaker coach towards the end of the campaign to stabalise the ship.

AmaZulu have missed out on a top eight finish after their latest league defeat to Lamontville Golden Arrows, and will take on Orlando Pirates in their final match of the season on Saturday. Dlamini believes Usuthu have let themselves down for most parts of the season, and need to use this time to make decision on players who will be part of the team next season.
