DOE Aims To Employ Unemployed Teachers

The MEC of Education in KwaZulu-Natal, Mbali Frazer says the department will be focusing on ensuring that unemployed teachers are employed.
Frazer has been speaking during the National Elective Conference of the National Teachers’ Union in Durban.
The MEC says she is aware that some of the problems in the education sector are a result of Covid 19 which negatively impacted on both teachers and learners.
She says the first priority is to get those unemployed educators in classrooms.
