Does SA Really Need a State of Emergency?

Political Analyst, Professor Bheki Mngomezulu, says placing the country under state of emergency will not benefit South Africans.

Citizens are calling for president Cyril Ramaphosa to declare a state of emergency in his address tonight.

The presidency has announced that Ramaphosa will address the nation about the on going protests and civil unrest in the country.

Mngomezulu says Ramaphosa should not even think of declaring a state of emergency.
