Dube Ncube Says Communities Need To Work With The Government To Fight Crime

Premier Nomusa Dube Ncube says communities must work with the government to fight crime in Pietermaritzburg and surrounding areas.

She had been addressing ward 35 residents in Sobantu, under Umgungundlovu district municipality.

The Executive Council of the KZN Government hosted the Operation Sukuma Sakhe Cabinet Day at Umgungundlovu District Municipality yesterday, engaging with residents on a range of issues.

According to SAPS stats, Maritzburg’s Plessislaer police station is one of the top stations in regards to the highest number of murder cases between January and March this year following Umlazi and Inanda respectively.
