Duncan Crowie promises beautiful football at the Under-17 AFCON

South African Under-17 national team coach Duncan Crowie has promised to showcase beautiful football when his boys get into action at the Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Algeria. Crowie spoke at the squad announcement press conference on Tuesday, where he announced 21 of the best young players from across the country to represent South Africa in Algeria.

The team was trimmed down from 28 players who went into camp on 9 April 2023, and the players will jet off to Algeria on Friday ahead of their tournament opener against Morocco on Sunday 30 April 2023. South Africa are in group B alongside Morocco, Nigeria and Zambia.

Crowie has promised that his boys will play beautiful attacking football, and will try their best to win top honors at the continental showpiece.
