EFF calls for action against provincial Education MEC

Written by on 11 November, 2019

The EFF in the province is calling for Education MEC, Kwazi Mshengu, to resign following reports that taxpayers are forking out R90 000 monthly to rent a car for him.

Mshengu has confirmed paying that amount for a luxury Mercedes Benz vehicle despite his predecessor’s car being available for him to use.

Sunday Times has also reported that officials working for the MEC have forged a letter from a car dealership advising against driving the one-year-old Mercedes Benz GLE 350 provided to him.

EFF’s provincial leader, Vusi Khoza, says Zikalala should do the right thing and take action against Mshengu.
